As the submitter of many an enhancement request I can say I'm well aware
that I am profiting from someone else's generousity, and that I should:

1) appreciate what they produce as it enhances my life
2) find something else that does a better job of it if I am dissatisfied
3) stop using it if it doesn't do what I want

Many OSS projects fall into #3, this one is definately in #1, and often
#2 is the best way to go about things in and out of the  OSS world.
