[mythtv-users] Not getting Dolby Prologic out of s/pdif

Dolby Pro Logic is encoded right into the stereo sound.  All the WinPVR
cards do is grab the sound and digitize it.  There should be no change
in the slight variation if the modulations of the sound that give the
pro-logic encoding.

The pro-logic would be decoded and split to the various channels by your
sound system from the stereo wave form.

Also note the AC3 (Dolby Digital) and Pro-Logic are 2 totally different
things.  AC3 comes in digitally and is passed to the hard drive by a
digital encoder card (ie a pcHDTV 3000).  You cannot get AC3 from an
analog signal, which is what your WinPVR card is encoding.
