[mythtv-users] Changing channels on a GE DCT2224

Looking through the MythTV docs and this mailing list, there isn't much on
how to configure MythTV to change channels via a IR Blaster.

I had MythTV working great with regular cable and recently upgrade to
digital cable.  They sent me a GE DCT2224 with no serial or firewire ports.
So I'm using an IR Blaster from irblaster.info to attempt to change channels
from COM2 on the MythTV backend to the IR receiver on cable box.  I also
have a IR receiver to COM1 for my remote and that worked well with basic
cable.

I tried using the contrib/dct2000serial.tar.gz but I am getting a python
error:

[mythtv at virgil bin]# ./changechannel.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./changechannel.py", line 148, in ?
    cmdarg = sys.argv[1]
IndexError: list index out of range

But I think this script is for a DCT2224 with a serial port.

I have the changechannel.py script set in mythtv-setup along with the
default channel set to 3.

Anyway, it seems I'm missing something simple.  Any pointers to get this
working?
