[mythtv-users] Best version for DVB-T

I'm using two of the Connexant Nova-T's i.e. the affected card. My
tuning would always get there in the end, but in live TV this could
take up to 15 seconds, after which the picture would be jerky a lot of
the time, strangely fixable with a pause/play. One guy suggested
installing the cvs dvb drivers from linuxtv, which I did, but this
didn't seem to help. In the end I patched the 0.19-fixes branch to
include usleeps for 1/5 second after a couple of operations as per the
other thread and this has improved the situation. My tuning is down to
about 6 seconds, still hardly great, but significantly better and the
picture is fine straight away. I hesitate to say why it's still up at
around 6 seconds, but it's likely to be some other bottleneck of my
own accidental devising.
