It is generally recommended that a 3Ghz processor is needed to decode HD 
without XvMC.  You may want to try compiling and/or enabling XvMC 
support and see if that works for you.  With the 5200 it should work 
nice.  My MX440 with an Athlon 1800 can playback 1080i content with XvMC 
enabled.  Try to use the nvidia 7676 driver as it seems to work best.
