"ISO" is just one of the ripping modes, normally you can play it with
anything that will play a DVD disk itself.
I had a problem using ISO mode though, my drive tray would lock up
and only a re-boot would free it.
I now use "perfect" mode, which rips the titles individually
into .vob files.
To change the ripping mode scroll up and down with the arrow keys,
with "iso mode" highlighted press the space bar and you will scroll
through all the available modes.
Scrolling up to the title, scroll sideways and you can select the
individual titles on the disk, checking the checkbox above the title
will put that title in the queue to be processed. I normally just rip
the main title(s) which can be identified by the length of the cut, I
skipp the 1 and 2 minute "freebies" that are of no interest to me.
Also, scrolling down to the audio track and then going sideways will
allow you to select which audio track you rip. I learned about this
after watching a movie in French, :-) You can also select 2, 6 or
whatever channel format here, not all formats will be playable
depending on your hardware.
I should mention that all these DVDs I am ripping are ones I recorded
myself from my TiVo years ago, using the proprietary software they
provided. These disks are not encrypted, and AFAIK I am not violating
the DMCA.
