i just did a quick comparison between 0.18.1 and 0.19

card: HAMA DVB-T USB
position: Germany
Linux: Gentoo with kernel 2.6.15

time to see a picture after selecting new channel from EPG: 
0.18.1 between two and four seconds
0.19   between eight and 25 seconds
