    Ah... but then why did MythTV 0.18.1 work flawlessly when
    MythTV 0.19 is so problematic ?

    I haven't had any problems using tzap or kaffeine or mplayer to
    tune to the channels found in my channels.conf. Changing
    channels is quick and reliable. I'm running 2.6.15-gentoo-r5 so
    I don't think you can really say the DVB Nova-T driver is all
    that broken when I've only experienced problems when using
    it with MythTV 0.19.

    Now, I have no real problem with slow channel changing as I
    understand a little about the buffering. I just want to have reliable
    channel changing back and I really don't want to have to downgrade.
    It's also not just that I'm a live-tv watcher... I'm having the odd
    empty recording because the Nova-T fails to fully lock.

    Also, keep in mind that there are a number of us experiencing these
    issues.

    Anyone else having problems or care to offer some insight before
    I dive into the source ?
