Ah... but then why did MythTV 0.18.1 work flawlessly when
MythTV 0.19 is so problematic ?
I haven't had any problems using tzap or kaffeine or mplayer to
tune to the channels found in my channels.conf. Changing
channels is quick and reliable. I'm running 2.6.15-gentoo-r5 so
I don't think you can really say the DVB Nova-T driver is all
that broken when I've only experienced problems when using
it with MythTV 0.19.
Now, I have no real problem with slow channel changing as I
understand a little about the buffering. I just want to have reliable
channel changing back and I really don't want to have to downgrade.
It's also not just that I'm a live-tv watcher... I'm having the odd
empty recording because the Nova-T fails to fully lock.
Also, keep in mind that there are a number of us experiencing these
issues.
Anyone else having problems or care to offer some insight before
I dive into the source ?
Cheers,
Doug
