Have you tried running Slimserver on the box with the music
files? You can download Slimserver software from
slimdevices.com, as well as clients for the server.
You can integrate the slim client with Myth, so that it shows up
in the Myth frontend menu.
You can control the Slimserver either via the client software
(with a remote or keyboard) or via a web interface.
