[mythtv-users] Movies From HDD

I've read true the documentation off m-player and found the following key
bindings concering subtitles.
v Toggle subtitle visibility.
b / j Cycle through the available subtitles.
y and g Step forward/backward in the subtitle list.
F Toggle displaying "forced subtitles".
a Toggle subtitle alignment: top / middle / bottom.
x and z Adjust subtitle delay by +/- 0.1 seconds.
r and t Move subtitles up/down.
I've tried all of these but I was able to get subtitles visible.
I've tested this ISO file on a windows PC (using Deamon tools & Power DVD)
and the subtitles show without any problem so the iso file seems fine and
contains subtitles.
Is what I want not possible with Mythtv/M-player or am I doing something
wrong.
Any help is appreciated.
Wim

Hi Shawn
Thank you for your reaction
What player are you using to play your DVD iso files?
I discovered that Knoppmyth uses M-player when playing movies from
harddrive. But the movie I tested did not have menu's so that should been no
problem. If I could select the Subtitle and audio track with some button
press.
Thanks Wim

Ok I now put a movie as a ISO file in the video directory of my knoppmyth
box. I can now play the movie but how do I select subtitles.
Wim
What player are you using to play your DVD iso files? If you are using a
player with menu support, like xine (Probably the most used dvd playing app
at the moment, at least until mplayer and/or the internal dvd player support
menus), or ogle, then you should be able to just navigate through the dvd
menus and select them like you would on a normal dvd player. If you are
using something else to play the DVDs, then I am not sure how you would go
about it.
