Can Myth do it trivially now - no.
Is it technically possible - yes.

You can't play the CD whilst it's ripping (it usually rips at more than
1x speed)
You can play the 'just ripped' tracks though.

Of course your player needs to know that some tracks are 'about to
appear' and what they'll be called so you can queue them - not trivial.
