[mythtv-users] Serial port control?

[PROTEK]

I don't know about using a serial cable ( sorry ) but I would love to 
get my Serial Port IR Blaster working with Lirc -

Setup is a Time Warner SA Explorer 8300 / Suse 10 / Myth 0.19.

I attempted to get it working several times with no luck?

Ff you or anyone else might know?
