[mythtv-users] "Updating music database" takes too long

I imported one of my CDs recently.  The import itself seems to take very little time.  However, when you scan for new music, mythfrontend spends a whole lot of time "Updating music database".  

Is there any way to speed that up?  The machine I have is pretty fast (athlon 3200+ 1G RAM) and the drives are standard issue SATA and IDE drives.
