[mythtv-users] is mythtv smart enough to do this (overlap/back-to-back) with recordings?

Or even more likely, give them a KDE and/or Gnome gui that lets them
drag files they don't want into the trashcan, and then permits the
operation to be undone.  But rm and the command line is there for the
experienced user.  A table saw comes with a safety guard that can be
removed if need be.  There is no reason an interface cannot be
designed to protect users from their own mistakes, while still
allowing someone who knows what they're doing to work efficiently.
