[mythtv-users] Sound occasionally getting choppy, video pixelated with PVR-250

Hey, all. I'm running the .19 packages from thehunter.ws repository. I'm
running into an issue where, occasionally after watching Live TV (or perhaps
when I turn on Live TV), the sound will get choppy or warbly (wish I had
better adjectives for it) and the video will have some pixellated artifacts.
This necessitates a hard reboot. Alternatively, if I go into the Recording
Profiles and reset the quality to low (mythtv defaults) from DVD Special 2 ,
the artifacts disappear.
It also appears that ivtv is not retaining its settings. For some reason,
the input appears to be changing. The input should be 3:
sh-3.1$ ivtvctl -P
ioctl VIDIOC_G_INPUT ok
Video input
When I reset it with ivtvctl -p 3, then go to Live TV, it switches back to
input 5! What's weirder is that if I reset, then watch Live TV, I get
perfectly good audio and video- but then see that the input has been
switched to 5 again. Bizarre. Since MythTV appears to be a factor in this, I
figured I'd ask here first before I went to the ivtv mailing list. I'm not
sure what additional info I can provide, but here's ivtv data from dmesg:

If anyone has any thoughts on this, that would be great! I hate to have to
restart after watching Live TV for fear of corrupting any upcoming
recordings (as I did tonight)!
Thanks,
Jack.
