[mythtv-users] Difficulties with LVM

I had my MythTV system up and running on FC4 perfectly using Jarod's guide
for months. I tried adding an additional hard drive using LVM and webmin
and it worked great until I had a hard lock-up watching 24 in Hi-def last
night.
Now when my system boots up, I get the following when trying to mount my LVM
mounts:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
I did a bit of googling and found a suggestion to try the following
commands:
[root at mythbox mythtv]# /usr/sbin/vgscan --mknodes
Reading all physical volumes. This may take a while...
Found volume group "VolGroup00" using metadata type lvm2
[root at mythbox mythtv]# /usr/sbin/vgchange -ay
1 logical volume(s) in volume group "VolGroup00" now active
[root at mythbox mythtv]# /usr/sbin/lvscan
ACTIVE '/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00' [476.84 GB] inherit
[root at mythbox mythtv]# mount /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 /mnt/video/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
I know very little about LVM so any help is greatly appreciated!!.
Life really sucks without my MythTV...
Thanks again!
Jason
