Joe Votour <joevph at yahoo.com> says:

Don't forget

5. The program listing

I record Letterman, Leno, and Conan (for non-Americans, all three are
nicknames for popular late-night talk shows), and the listings for all
three carry non-"standard" start and end at odd times. Same with NBC's
reruns of the latter two. Conan, in particular, starts almost exactly
when the listing says it does.

HDNet Movies is also very good about starting its films almost exactly
on schedule; moviephiles clearly run things over there.

Anyone who uses MythTV and isn't also using NTP as a time source on
his systems is doing himself a great disservice.

Incorrect. See <URL:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TBS_(TV_network)> for
more on the late, lamented "Turner Time."
