Ideally:
- Unmount the partition
- Do a dd image of the partition to a file
- Make the dd image read-only (chmod)
- Format the original partition (ideally with something like xfs rather than 
reiser)
- Use a loop device to mount the image file read-only to a temporary directory
- Recursively copy the files off the looped image to the new filesystem

You might have to do the copy piece-wise if there are files that are 
irretrievably stuffed. Note that even though a file may copy OK, the contents 
may still be corrupted.

Alternatively you prey that reiserfsck was able to fix everything properly.
