[mythtv-users] Mythbackend and Mythfrontend crashes when exiting LiveTV

Hi all

I am running Gentoo. Just recently I upgraded Gentoo and MythTV to the
latest libraries and apps.
When I boot up I can nolonger get mythbackend booting automatically, I have
tried to trouble should the script looks sound. I have to run mythbackend as
sudo to start it.
When I watch livetv and want to swap to either music or videos and exit
livetv mythfrontend and mythbackend crashes. Where do I start investigating
what is causing myth to crash.

Also I would like to stop myth from filling my harddrive I would like to get
it to only use 30g of my harddrive space.
