I am currently running off the SVN now on Ubuntu and I can say that there is
not much to it as long as you compile properly for your distro and install
the dependencies for the different plugins. With that said I haven't checked
since my last SVN update but I was unable to run mytharchive because of
errors. It does look like it is going to be nice but I haven't had time to
look in to the error messages. Unless you are willing to loose your main
system for a little while you hammer out learning how to do Myth this way I
would probably hold off until you know MythArchive is going to work for you.
That's just my two cents and if you are running Ubuntu I can pass on all my
notes that I used when moving from .19 to SVN. Good luck
Allan
