No reason to. Austar use Irderto for there encryption and therefore a
DVB-S with a CI works fine normally. I say normally because my card is
having problems with MythTV SVN HEAD and kernels > 2.6.15. But I was
running fine on 2.6.15 with an older MythTV (I think 0.19 was fine).
