Hey michael,

Would it be possible to jot down quickly EXACTLY what you did to
enable auto-transcoding, if you can remember? I have recently rebuilt
my database after mysql turfed and while auto-transcoding was working
originally, it isn't now and for the life of me I can't figure out
why.

My current settings are:
Setup -> TV Settings -> Recording Profiles -> Hardware DVB Encoders -> Default
Enabled 'auto-trancode new recordings'

Setup -> TV Settings -> Recording Profiles -> Transcoders ->
Autodetect from MPEG2 -- has been set to what I want

Setup -> TV Settings -> General -> Page 3 -> Default Transcoder  is
set to Autodetect.


Now, I've noticed that the record.transcoder field is '0' for my
recordings, which doesn't map to any recordingprofiles.id. I assume 0
is a special field to indicate Autodetect?
When scheduling a recording if I set it to explicitly refer use a
profile, the record.transcoder field is set appropriatelly
(correspondings to something in recordingprofiles.id). However, the
recording still does not transcode.
