[mythtv-users] Defective PVR-350?

I have little experience with MythTV so I'm unsure how to evaluate my
current situation. I have two capture cards, a Hauppage PVR-150 and a
Hauppage PVR-350. I'd prefer to use the 350 for the video out ability.

When I put the 150 in the target machine, Fedora 5 sees it fine as
shown by the lspci output:

But when I remove the 150 and put the 350 in the same slot, it is not
seen. Notice also that the 1394 controller becomes invisible.

I'd think I have a defective card except for the missing 1394 controller.
That makes me think there is some sort of conflict in the system which is
making the 350 invisible. Can anybody see a clue in the above output?
