[mythtv-users] Losing alsamixer settings on ffwd

To bring volume up, as user mythtv, I open alsamixer and turn up PCM and the volume is perfect.  Then back in mythfrontend, if I fast forward or anything, the PCM drops back down to normal.  

Any idea how to make alsamixer settings permanent?
