I thought that top posting was a way of coping with failing to edit your
message to only quote the relevant portion.

There's no need to scroll if you edit properly.

Anyway, I thought that this has been discussed ad-nauseum on this list
in the past, and I think that the general consensus is that top-posting
isn't appreciated here.
