I am new to Linux, so how do I check my versions of mythtv and MySQL.
Curious to see if I am on the older versions.

Yep,
I am (was?) seeing the same issue.
Upgraded from 0.18 to 0.19 on Thursday. And one week out channel 2 started
to list "no data" and channel 2 listings were showing up on channel, 3 and 4
on
5 etc etc.
I shutdown both backends all frontends purged the channel listings and
re-added the channel listings, reconfigured the inputs again. Had to go
through this exercise twice on Saturday, before channel 2 stopped listing
"no data" and the channels were aligned properly. The mythfilldatabase ran
this morning and so far the listings are fine out to 3/11/06
Running: mysql-server-4.1.16-1.FC4.1
Sunday I noted a updated mythtv package so I upgraded to that. I do not
know if it had any affect on this issue or not.
So I currently have: mythtv-0.19-122.rhfc4.at
mythtv-backend-0.19-122.rhfc4.at
I was running 0.19-121.
