[mythtv-users] help ! FATAL: Error running install command for ivtv

[JDeGraw]

1. Download the tar.gz file for ivtv from ivtv site.
2. Untar it into your root directory
tar xzvf ivtv-0.4.2.tar.gz

3. cd cd /root/ivtv-0.4.2/driver

4. run "make"
5. run "make install"
6. /sbin/modprobe ivtv

7. cat /var/log/messages |grep ivtv

*modify paths as needed.
