to clarify, I didn't mean the nForce3 chipset, I meant the Si3112 SATA 
controller. I read many reports of the problems it caused in the early 
days of it's use, and it's still happening.  I purchased a cheaper ABIT 
motherboard and had many hours of grief with corrupt volumes.
