Not counting updating to .19, my mythbox (and remote frontend) have been
up at least a month without having to restart. That includes scheduling
and recording about 4-5 shows a day, as well as time delayed live TV - I
frequently just pause TV on a show I want to watch, go to the store or
whatever, come back and keep watching, then skip the commercials. I don't
use the DVD portion, as I have a standalone player that I use... I have a
lot of MP3's and a few pictures in the gallery as well... overall it is
VERY usable. I'm not, however, doing anything special like digital or HD,
but for what I use it for, it's great.
If you have a system lying around (my inital mythbox was an 800mhz machine
I had sitting around, and it worked great as well), just try knoppmyth...
shouldn't be too difficult to get going.
