[mythtv-users] Channel change not working

Thanks for the reply.  Sorry to ask, but where will I need to go in the setup to turn it off.

It's called "Browse Mode" and is the default now. It shows the channel 
information in the OSD without changing the channel so you can quickly 
go through your channels, see what is on, then press SELECT/ENTER to 
change once you find a program you want.

It can be turned off in the setup
