Not quite what the thread was about, but has there been any thought
given to changing the commflag to use ioprio IDLE and forgo the sleeping
it does currently? I've seen it mentioned before that the reason it's
not simply a low-priority thread is due to risk of hogging IO capacity,
but starting from 2.6.12 (I think - or is that .14?) the IO scheduler
can prioritize IDLE process IO below regular and realtime processes.
