Has anyone had this issue with a non-ivtv card?  My system is a 
frontend+backend, with a PVR-250 and a BTTV card in it.  I have noticed 
that when I'm recording on the PVR-250 and watching on the BTTV card, 
that it doesn't freeze on the buffer change.  On the PVR-250 it freezes 
every single time.  Ticket #1309 says that its fixed in Changeset 9013, 
so I'm actually considering using the latest SVN to get around it.
