[mythtv-users] Close Caption for Australian DVB-T

Hi

I thought about opening another thread as it's slightly different than what
I've been reading so far regarding subtitles.

I have two DVB-T cards, one digitalnow DNTV Live! DVB-T Pro (Zarlink MT352
DVB-T) and one USB Twinhan DVB-T

I have tried getting subtitles but no matter what, after pressing T, all it
displays is "TXT:" at the top of the screen, or 888 if you press T several
times.

It came to my mind that 888 is the Teletext channel MythTV is trying to use
to show subtitles. In Australia the default teletext page for watching
subtitles is 801.

While I'm not sure if it is entirely related, I thought it was worth trying.

Otherwise, did anybody in Oz managed to get subtitles with a DVB-T card? so
far in various forums the answer was either negative or "didn't try/don't
know"

Thank you
Jean-Yves
