Works fine for me. Master backend has 2 x PVR250, slave backend has 2 x 
Avermedia M179's, my standalone frontend has no problem playing back 
recordings or live tv from either of the frontends. Mind you, this is 
using the built in streaming of MythTv, shared (NFS or SMB mounted) 
directories do not work yet with live tv.
