[mythtv-users] How to scan for channels

Yes, I have signal and reception in kaffeine. I haven't used scan or
tzap until now.. but when I tried
scan -x 0 /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/fi-Turku > channels.conf

it writes to stderr:

Somehow it seems to loop. It finds the channels and starts over again
so the same channels are found again and again. I pressed Ctrl-C and
got:
ERROR: interrupted by SIGINT, dumping partial result...
dumping lists (55 services)
Done.

I cleared the duplicates and the non-tv channels (got remaining 13
distinct tv channels) in the channels.conf. I imported them into
mythtv, and voilà it works. My first impression is that zapping is
very slow, otherwise a cool app.

But still.. in my opinion the channel scanner in mythtv is buggy! Is
there a ticket for it, or do you think it's a expected behaviour?
