For some reason, the Myth debs are compiled against a version or build 
of Qt that is incompatible with with the version that KDE uses....  (Is 
that right?  Someone correct me here....)

The long and the short of it is that with Debian, you can't have both 
KDE and Myth on the same system....

This is your opportunity to learn to use XFCE4; it' s a much better 
system....  :-)
