[mythtv-users] setting up MCE remote using with mythtv

The lirc daemon is already running correctly, so:

1) Make sure your mythtv was compiled with lirc
support.  (It should default to "on".)
2) Make sure the user (under which you are launching
mythfrontend) has the file "$HOME/.mythtv/lircrc". 
(There is also usually a symlink at "$HOME/.lircrc"
pointing to the one in .mythtv.)
3) Make sure the lircrc file has entries of the proper
form:

begin
        remote = <remote name in /etc/lircd.conf>
        prog   = mythtv
        repeat = 3   [or 2 or 1 if you prefer]
        button = 2   [the button name in lircd.conf]
        config = 2   [the key sent to mythtv]
end

Then you should be good to go.
