I have not read that specific document, but I have gone through this process
twice before and can certainly go through it again (I've saved-off my
previous channels.conf and mythconverg db).  But I was intrigued by the
possibility of having myth perform this configuration for me, especially as
it seems to have found more channels than I did.  If the answer is that the
myth scan doesn't do everything for you, then ok.  But if it's supposed to,
and didn't, then I'm trying to figure out why.
