Just a question for the group. Does it make sense to record in HDTV
and then transcode? Why record in the best quality and then downgrade
the quality to something else? Wouldn't it make more sense to record
in a lower format in the 1st place, such as SDTV (assuming, of course,
that SDTV is available)?
