I've upgraded to .19 from .18.1 using gentoo. Unfortunately, I get the
following errors when I try to watch live TV / record.

2006-02-15 23:42:24.006 Channel(/dev/v4l/video0)::Open(): Can't open video
device, error "Permission denied"
2006-02-15 23:42:24.008 ChannelBase: Could not find input: Composite 4 on
card when setting channel 1
...
2006-02-15 23:42:24.118 MSqlQuery: SELECT channel.chanid FROM channel,
capturecard, cardinput
WHERE channel.channum       = ''           AND       channel.source
id     = cardinput.sourceid AND       cardinput.inputname  =
NULL             AND
cardinput.cardid     = capturecard.cardid AND       capturecard.cardid =
1
AND       capturecard.hostname = 'tuxtv'
2006-02-15 23:42:24.120 TVRec(1) Error: Channel: '' was not found in the
database.
                        Most likely, your DefaultTVChannel setting is wrong.
                        Could not start livetv.
2006-02-15 23:42:24.121 TVRec(1): ClearFlags(PENDINGACTIONS,) ->
RunMainLoop,Ask
AllowRecording,

I also noticed that after I upgraded myth reported permission errors on the
nfslockfile.lock in my video directory. Deleting that and then touching it,
seemed to have fix it. At least I can watch my previously recorded videos.

thanks,

Nick
