[mythtv-users] Can you probe an nvidia card to get current modeline?

I would love to know what resolution (and other mode detail) my nvidia
card is putting out at a given point in time.  My TV switches mode from
1080i to 720p to 480p as I do different tasks.  I'd like to be able to
see what the card is delivering to cause the TV to change modes.

I tried reading
http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86_40/1.0-2880/README.txt which did
teach me about /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/* but those files don't contain
that kind of info.

Suggestions?
