Maybe solution could be some VFD-display, I think those are clearer and
bigger 8).
Don't know is lcdproc support tho, but there might be some compatible ones
8)

Or then you could install magnifier class on top of the display 8) ..  I
think I can manage, when I get new eyegrasses 8).
