TBH, you don't need search plugins. Set up a Bookmark to search instead:

Name: Anything you like
Location: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/engine?list=mythtv&do=search_results&search_forum=all&search_string=%s&search_type=AND
(NOTE the %s in there)
Keyword: MythTV

Now all you need do is to type "MythTV keyword keyword keyword" into
the address bar, and you'll be taken straight to a search of the Myth
archives.

They're called "Quick Searches", and you can define as many as you like.
