That's my read too. However, what about when there is a
frontend/backend *and* a remote dedicated NFS/Samba share?
Mythfrontend using using NFS/Samba to directly grab the file would
theoretically be faster, but then I presume that any added latency
from the mythfrontend-mythbackend layers communicating with each other
would be absolutely minimal.
