[mythtv-users] Wake On Lan anyone?

I've read a few posts and wiki entries on people using the 'timer' to
shutdown and wakeup their backends for recording, however, I would
think that a WOL would be a better way to do it so I could just hit a
button on my remote at my frontend to send a wakeup signal to my
master backend to get it up and rolling so I can watch some TV.

However, I'm hitting a brick wall early on trying to get WOL working. 
I've read about a magic packet, but have no clue what it's referring
to or how to get it working across my LAN.  All my motherboards claim
to support WOL, if that helps.  Any other info needed I'll be happy to
provide.
