But, if you look, you've got 23M of free RAM, but using 87M of swap. 
It's possible that 23M is not enough space to contain a large enough
chunk of the swapped 87M.  If you tossed in another 128M, I'm betting
your used swap would drop to near 0.

Just for my curiosity:

I just really looked at those nubmers... That looks like 1.25Gig of
RAM in that system with a 1.3Gig swap?   Is this a desktop machine
also, and what kind of processes are running?
