[mythtv-users] Motherboard with NV chipset (AC97) -- would a soundcard be useful?

Hi,

I was just wondering if I would gain anything by using a soundcard over
my motherboard sound chip.  I have a nvidia chipset that provides AC97
audio -- it has digital SPDIF and chip integrated 5.1 channel H/W audio.
