[mythtv-users] Mythtv on powerpc

I'm a big fan of mplayer.  It compiles natively on OSX, so you can  
simply download the source and follow the instructions on their  
site.  If you aren't into compiling, you can download a binary from  
the mplayerhq.hu site (beta) which works fairly well.  There is an  
old MplayerOSX project on sourceforge that I used for a while, but it  
had static on any vob's with AC3 audio.  Very annoying...

In the MythVideo setup, just put in the proper path to the mplayer  
binary in my case, /usr/local/bin/mplayer....

For a remote, I use the Keyspan Express USB Remote.  Few buttons, but  
it works very well.
