[mythtv-users] streaming to windows (directly through myth)

Hi:

I tried to follow
the samba route.  So install samba on the mythbackend box
and have my window box mount the files over.
I have also installed the latest VLC.  However, VLC
does not seem to know how to deal with Myth Nuppel codec.  I can
hear the audio from my saved TV shows
but no video.

Can VLC play MythTV Nuppel files?
