Yep.  As explained in the HOWTO, if you're powering the system down for 
longer than a few minutes, you shouldn't sync the RTC to the corrected 
system clock at shutdown.  Since most distros do this automatically, 
it's quite likely that your system will build up an incorrect drift 
correction.
